The Business of Finance Programme is an innovative new programme to help small business and social enterprises enhance their potential to become more competitive and to plan for financial development and growth.

The programme aims to improve companies’ financial competence and to help participants with the skills to approach and meet the requirements of external funders.

The programme will start in January 2013 and includes:

  • A financial assessment
  • Financial management workshops
  • Meet the funder event
  • Individual financial mentoring: You’ll be allocated an experienced mentor to work with you for 3.75 days throughout the programme.
  • Two-year financial action plan

To be eligible you must be a small business or social enterprise based in the Belfast City Council area with less than 20 employees.

Belfast City Council, Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) are investing heavily in this programme. The cost is only £100 + VAT per participant.
