The Lough Neagh Partnership is inviting the public to join in celebrating the season of new beginnings with its Spring Online Talks series via Zoom. Throughout the series, expert guides will be encouraging online audiences to explore the fascinating features and unique adaptations of plant and animal species and their wildlife habitats.

Consultant Ecologist, Karl Hamilton; Environmentalist, Judy Meharg; and Bee Expert, Geoff Newell; will share their wealth of knowledge and understanding, offering a deeper appreciation of the biodiversity in our precious local habitats.

In taking a close look at Woodlands, Farming and Conservation, Wildflowers, Raptors and Bees, these talks invite delegates to further consider the interconnected relationships between people and the natural world.

Gerry Darby, Strategic Manager of The Lough Neagh Partnership, said: “This series of online events has been made possible by funding The Lough Neagh Partnership has received from UK government’s Community Renewal Fund. By hosting these events online we are able to engage those attending to learn about the habitat around us from the comfort of their own home. Embracing technology to deliver these talks will also enable The Lough Neagh Partnership to reach a new and wider audience and we have no doubt that attendees will be enthralled by the subject matter.”
