Know your rights: Norwegian Airlines ending all flights between Ireland and the US

The Consumer Council issues advice for affected customers

The Consumer Council has provided advice to customers affected by Norwegian Airlines’ recent announcement that it is ending all of its flights between Ireland and the US from 15 September 2019.

Richard Williams, Head of Transport Policy at The Consumer Council, said: “Passengers have rights that are protected under European law when flights are cancelled. This includes the right to a full refund within 7 days or re-routing, under comparable transport conditions, to the final destination at the earliest opportunity. Customers should contact Norwegian Airlines as soon as possible to discuss their needs.”
