It's not too early to be prepared for Winter!

The Northern Exposure Project run by NEA can help communities in Belfast get their homes ready for the Winter months. Through direct referrals and information sessions we can provide advice to householders and community groups.

The Northern Exposure project can help you get your house ready for the autumn and winter months.

Did you know?

  • Cavity wall insulation can save up to 35% on heating costs
  • Loft insulation can save up to  20% on heating costs

Grants are available through PowerNI and Warm Homes for home owners, or private renters on certain benefits or on low incomes for;

  • loft and cavity wall insulation
  • a new gas central heating system – if you don’t have any central heating, or you have economy 7, bottled gas or a solid fuel central heating.

Are you Energy Aware?

Northern Exposure can also provide information sessions to community groups from 15 minutes to 2 hours long.

NEA /City & Guilds fully accredited training is also available on ‘Energy Awareness in the Home’ for those working or volunteering within the community sector and who are in a position to provide advice to householders.
