Give a Volunteer the special Thank You they deserve – Nominate Today!

Cookstown and Magherafelt Volunteer Centre are holding their Volunteer Recognition Awards and are requesting nominations. The awards are open to volunteers of all ages who are contributing to their local community.

We had our first ever Volunteer Recognition Awards in 2014 which was a great success and had received over 150 nominations. We want to build on that and give organisations a further opportunity to nominate their volunteers to say thank you. It is important to recognise volunteers for their contribution and commitment and to feel valued. Many organisations could not exist without volunteers and this is a perfect opportunity to express gratitude and appreciation to all those who give their time freely.

Do you know a volunteer that deserves to be recognised? Nominations are now open and will close on 20 May 2016.

Nominations can be submitted online at www.cookstownmagherafeltvc.org or by calling into your local Volunteer Centre office.

Cookstown Office – 2b Coagh Crescent, Cookstown BT80 8NH, 028 8676 1122

Magherafelt Office – 20 Queen Street, Magherafelt BT45 6AB, 028 7930 1862

There is no limit to how many people you can nominate.

The Volunteer Recognition Awards ceremony will take place on 3 June 2016 at Burnavon Arts & Cultural Centre, Cookstown.

The awards are supported by Mid Ulster Council.
