Inner South Belfast Neighbourhood Partnership

Election of Community Sector Representatives to the Inner South Belfast Neighbourhood Partnership

The Inner South Belfast Neighbourhood Partnership was established to oversee and facilitate the Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy in the communities of Donegall Pass, Lower Ormeau and the Market.

The Partnership has responsibility within the Neighbourhood Renewal Area to develop and deliver upon a Neighbourhood Action Plan to direct regeneration efforts for all communities.

The Neighbourhood Partnership will be holding fresh elections for community representation in May 2018. In addition, the Inner South Belfast Neighbourhood Partnership are currently updating a database of local community groups from which community sector representation onto this body will be drawn.

All bona fide community groups, which operate in the above-mentioned areas will have the right to nominate and elect the community representation onto this body. A number of criteria have been agreed to determine what constitutes a bona fide community group for the purposes of the nominative/elective process.  These are that a group was formed before January 1 2016, that it has a constitution or articles and memorandum, that it has committee members and that it keeps minutes of its meetings and holds an annual general meeting (AGM).

While nomination forms have been sent to all groups on the database, any group which meets the criteria outlined above and has not received a registration and nomination form should contact:
