Educating the whole family with a consumer rights themed day of fun

The Consumer Council and Radius Housing have teamed up to host a Friday Funday on 16 August 2019 from 10am to 1pm.

The event, taking place at Rose Street in Belfast, will include a variety of fun games to educate children and parents on their consumer rights, and help promote awareness of how The Consumer Council can help families with their household budget and avoiding scams.

There will also be competitions, prizes, quizzes, light refreshments, and goody bags to keep everyone entertained. It’s going to be a fun and educational day for the whole family.

Ronan Convery at The Consumer Council said, “We are delighted to host this event with Radius Housing to educate, inform and empower consumers about their rights. This event will bring people together to socialise, learn, and have fun. For those unable to attend, The Consumer Council also has a number of educational resources available online or on request.”

Karen Montgomery at Radius Housing, said, “Having worked with The Consumer Council for a number of years, we are pleased to co-host this event on 16 August. We look forward to engaging with the residents on the Springfield Road, and we will be providing information on the day about how Radius Housing can help.”
