Buttercrane Shopping Centre has taken a significant step in supporting community health by joining the #BoysNeedBins campaign with NI Washrooms (see LinkedIN), an initiative focused on men's health and specifically aimed at providing hygienic disposal solutions for men dealing with incontinence and stoma care.

In collaboration with Cancer Focus Northern Ireland, Buttercrane is helping to spotlight the need for male-specific sanitary bins in public restrooms, a critical facility that has been largely overlooked until now.

This partnership not only raises awareness about prostate cancer but also ensures that all proceeds from the provision and maintenance of these sanitary bins go directly to supporting the essential services offered by Cancer Focus NI. This includes counselling and support groups, crucial for those living with and recovering from prostate cancer.

Buttercrane's involvement in this campaign demonstrates their commitment to inclusivity and support for all members of the community, highlighting their role not just as a shopping destination but as a proactive contributor to public health and well-being.
