BIG Art Sale

The ‘Big Art Sale’ is back for the second year with 130 paintings by well known Irish artists to be sold for just £150 each in support of Habitat NI

Following the sell-out success of last year’s ‘Big Art Sale’ another 130 paintings have been anonymously donated by a private collector to help Habitat NI paint a better future for families in need.

The diverse collection of original Irish Art includes works from Harry Reid, Brian Merry and Ross Wilson. Valued between £250 and £1000, every painting will be sold for just £150 with 50% donated to Habitat for Humanity Northern Ireland.

The ‘Big Art Sale’ will open on the evening of Thursday 9th August, 6pm, at the Dock Cafe, Titanic Quarter, with all 130 paintings available for purchase.

Last year’s sale attracted an exceptionally high level of interest from the public, raising almost £15,000 to help Habitat serve more communities and families. It was this that spurred the donor to once again make the commitment to helping raise much needed funds.

Habitat NI Chief Executive Jenny Williams, wants everyone to come along and pick up a bargain.

“Having this opportunity for a second time is incredible. Last year was a sell-out success and we hope to repeat that this year. For the public it’s a unique opportunity to buy original art at an affordable price and at the same time help raise essential funds to give families the hand up they need to build their way out of poverty.”
