Mencap works in partnership with people who have a learning disability. It provides a range of support services and also works with families and carers.
Mencap’s Big Step Forward Appeal is seeking to raise monies for a new, purpose-built Children and Families’ Centre. It’s the charity’s most ambitious local fundraising project to date. At the heart of the new centre will be Segal House, a nursery for children aged between 2-4 years with a learning disability.
