Asylum & Refugee Rights Information Session

Do you live in the Lisburn & Castlereagh Borough Council area or work with groups within the Lisburn & Castlereagh Council area? We are providing free information sessions aimed at Asylum seekers, Refugees, and Migrants living in Northern Ireland.

In partnership with Community Advice Lisburn & Castlereagh (CALC) and funded by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Advice NI and CALC will be hosting a number of information sessions aimed at Asylum seekers, Refugees, and Migrants living in Northern Ireland and those who work with them. The aim is to ensure that everyone has access to information about their rights, entitlements, and responsibilities. Interpreters will be available for sessions as needed. Confidential benefits and one-off immigration advice are also available through this project.

The first session will be provided online via Zoom:

This information session will help asylum seekers and refugees understand:

• rights and entitlements related to the status, responsibilities, asylum support

• transition process upon recognition

• ANI services and projects for AS and refugees

• Q&A

• Target audience: asylum seekers, refugees

 

Zoom details will be circulated 2 days before the event & also 2hrs before the event starts.
