ASCERT Launches New Alcohol and Drug Training Calendar
Drug and alcohol services charity, ASCERT, is delighted to launch a new calendar of Workforce Development Training running from September to December 2017, funded by the Public Health Agency.
Courses are aimed at practitioners working with adults, children or young people within the statutory and voluntary and community sectors, and are designed to develop knowledge and skills in addressing drug and alcohol misuse. Courses are free and are CPD certified.
Courses for people working with adults
Foundation Module: Adults and Family Members (3 days)
Accredited Advanced Module - Level 3 Certificate in Substance Misuse (12 days)
Substance Misuse Awareness (1 Day)
Parental Substance Misuse (2 days)
Substance Misuse Awareness (1 day)
Supporting Family Members (2 days)
Understanding Alcohol Awareness (1/2 day)

Safeguarding Children: Hidden Harm Protocol (1/2 day)
The Regional Initial Assessment Tool for Young People (RIAT) (1/2 day)
