YOUTH MENTORS (2 POSTS)
REACT (Reconciliation, Education And Community Training)
The Youth Mentors will operate as part of a team responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of the Youth Mentoring Project. The primary responsibility of the successful candidates will be to provide mentoring support services to vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, and work in partnership with young people, parents/guardians, schools and other support networks to address young people's support needs. Applicants must have a third level qualification and one year’s experience of working with young people on a one to one basis OR diploma level qualification and one year’s experience of working with young people on a one to one basis.
These are 5 year posts funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
