
Larne Well-Being Hub is a mental health charity that has been offering support for over 15 years. Our team of volunteers, counsellors and therapists run a range of services within the local communities of Northern Ireland to promote improved mental health and well-being. These services range from drop-in social support sessions, well-being check-ins, counselling/psychotherapy for individuals from 4 years and up, training and facilitating mental health workshops to meet local need.

What's involved?
- To attend regular committee meetings
- To help make decisions about agency activities, events and governance
- To contribute to agency strategies and focus
- To contribute to agency fundraising plans and applications
- To assist other committee members as required
- To undertake projects or work as agreed with the committee
This role will suite me if I:
- Have oversight skills and can work in an organised way
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Am able to act in an impartial way
- Have a can-do attitude

How flexible is the role?
A committee member will usually work for approximately 2 hours per month, to include attending on average 6-8 online meetings a year.
What sort of training/induction will I receive before starting?
You will be inducted into the role and informed about the agency, with support whenever required.
