Join Our Vibrant Lunch Club Community at Belfast Central Mission! Are you looking for a fulfilling way to spend your free time, connect with others, and make a real difference to older people living in Belfast/Greater Belfast? We invite you to become a Volunteer Helper at our Lunch Club in the city centre on Wednesdays.

What You'll Do:

  • Set up, clean up and serve a hot meal.  
  • Engage with guests: Spend time chatting with our guests ensuring everyone feels included and valued.
  • Support Activities: Assist with setting up and tidying up, making sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Be a welcoming face:  Collect the money and check off the attendance register.

 

Who We're Looking For:

  • Friendly and Compassionate: You love meeting new people and have a caring nature.
  • Reliable and Committed: You can dedicate a few hours each week to help us create a positive experience for our members.
  • Team Player: You enjoy working with others and are always ready to lend a hand.

Time Commitment

Our lunch club takes place every Wednesday, September to May and every other Wednesday June, July and August. 

The time commitment is 10.00am – 2.00pm.
