Responsible for the delivery of the ESF Inclusion Works Service directly to participants leading to sustainable employability & inclusion outcomes.

The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff member:

 

Training Officer – Inclusion Works Western  (ESF)  REF: 20-063-TO-IWW-WEB

 

Purpose of the Job: 

 

To work in partnership with the Inclusion Works Case Officer team to deliver training, mentoring and support to participants, building skills needed to achieve sustainable employability and inclusion goals

 

To lead on personal development accredited training for Employability Skills & Life & Living Skills (BTEC & OCR accreditation)

 

To deliver training, mentoring and support to participants throughout the Western HSCT area

 

Hours:                         18 hours per week (Monday – Friday/office hours)

 

Contract:                    Permanent  

 

Location:                    Cedar Foundation, Fermanagh House, Broadmeadow Place,  Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh BT74 7HR

 

Salary:                        4 point incremental scale starting £22,462 per annum pro rata

 

Essential Criteria:

                       

  • 3rd level Teaching qualification (Certificate in Teaching, PGCE, Education Degree or equivalent level professional qualification)
  • Minimum of 1 year’s paid work experience in the direct provision of education, training or support.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Hold a full current driving licence valid for use in the UK and Ireland and have access to a car on appointment.

 

This criterion will be waived in the case of a suitable applicant who has a disability which prohibits them from driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements in order to meet the requirements of the post in full.

 

Desirable Criteria:

 

  • Experience of physical disability, ASD or brain injury
