Tackling Textiles Coordinator

30 to 37.5 hours per week; Salary £30,000 (based on full time hours, salary will be pro-rata’d for fewer hours); temporary until 31st March 2021 (extension subject to funding).

Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful, with the support of the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) is delivering a project to tackle the growing volume of textile waste in Northern Ireland. The post holder will implement a targeted advertising campaign and awareness raising competition. These will promote a new ‘Slow Fashion’ culture focusing on reuse and repurposing of clothes as well as investing in quality garments at the outset.

You will be competent in project/campaign management and be able to deliver targets within budget and on time. You will be able to deal effectively with a demanding workload, build lasting external relationships and communicate effectively.

Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful reserves the right to hold a reserve list, for a period of approximately 12 months, from this recruitment to fill similar roles which may arise.
