The Mews is a supported living service that provides 24-hour care and support in West Belfast, housing individuals with learning disabilities, mental health requirements and/or challenging behaviour.
Due to rapid continual growth and development, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Support Assistant to join our team within the supported living service for individuals with learning disability, autism and complex behaviours.
We are looking for confident, calm and compassionate people who can provide meaningful support in times of crisis and within a challenging environment.
Hours: Various shifts available, days, part time, full time
Shifts: 8am-8:30pm/ 9:30am-10pm/ 8pm-8:30am
Contract: Permanent
Location: The Mews, Glen Road
Salary: £17,682 per annum (based on 37 hrs pw) £9.19 ph
Essential:
- Numeracy & literacy (English language) skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrable evidence of 1 years care/support experience with experience of providing physical care / support for service users.
- Available to work shifts on a rota basis, inc weekends

ACCESS NI
Successful candidates will be appointed following satisfactory Access NI and other pre-employment checks. This Post is subject to an Enhanced Access NI check.
