Social Worker, Belfast (Maternity Cover)

Shared Lives gives adults with a learning disability the opportunity to live with and be supported by another family or individual. It also enables people who live with their own family to have short breaks with another family or an individual.
Social Worker
Temporary position for up to 6 months to cover maternity leave
22.5 hours/week – Flexible
£22,793- £25,468 full time equivalent pay
North Belfast
The Social Worker will recruit and support Shared Lives Carers. He/she will also carry out reviews and home visits. This is a challenging, yet highly rewarding, role that has a direct impact on the lives of people we support.
Essential criteria:
- Diploma in Social Work or an equivalent level qualification
- Personal or Professional experience of supporting people with a learning disability
- Experience of assessment
- A full driving licence and access to a car insured for business purposes. Consideration will be given to those candidates unable to meet this due to a disability

- Holiday allowance of 33 days per year pro rata
