Location:  Belfast Resource Centre, The Spires, 9 Upper Queen St, Belfast, BT1 6FB

Salary: Band 3 - £24,000 – £26,000 per annum pro rata  

Starting Salary: £10,240 per annum (Point 3.0)

Type of contract: 16 hours per week

Duration: Permanent 

Closing date: 12 noon, Wednesday 16th December 2020

Job Purpose:

To improve the lives of people experiencing severe mental health illness or mental health difficulties by:

• Having overall management responsibility for the day to day running of the service and delivering on the key performance indicators.
• To encourage and support active participation of service users underpinned by the Recovery model.

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge required:

• GCSE/O level grade C or above in English & Maths or equivalent
• QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Must have at least 2 years experience of providing support to people with mental health difficulties in a community or statutory setting.

OR

Must have at least 3 years experience of the above carried out in a voluntary capacity as a member of a voluntary organisation.

• Must have one years experience of preparing materials for groups and facilitating groups
