THIS IS A FIXED TERM POST FOR 9 – 12 MONTHS TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE

A bit about us

We are one of NI’s leading providers of high quality housing and supported housing services and our aim is to make a real difference to the lives of the people living in our homes, building confidence and skills to allow them to live independently while playing an active role in their communities. The post is within our care and support team. We are looking for motivated, flexible and creative individuals to bring passion and commitment to supporting people to make positive and lasting changes to their lives. We are modernising our customer offer so this is an exciting time to help us shape services that matter.

A bit about the role

We are seeking a Floating Scheme Co-ordinator to work across our independent living schemes in and around the Cookstown area. You will be required to work on a rotational basis across the schemes. Your normal working days will be Monday to Friday, from 9am to 3.30pm, but you must be flexible in order to meet customers’ needs including evening work.

This is a floating, responsive role so you will need a full driving license, be a car owner and have car insurance which includes business use.

The purpose of your role will be to promote the independence, dignity, security, privacy, confidentiality, rights and wellbeing of our customers in independent living. You will also be responsible for supporting our tenants to lead the lives they choose as independently as possible, signposting and working closely with other agencies.

A bit about you

To flourish in the role, you will have a really good understanding of what great customer experience looks like. Experience of working with people with a range of different support needs and a good understanding of housing related support would be extremely useful in the role, but not essential.

What you do need, is to be resilient, able to build trust and have a desire to help people do well.

This isn’t a hands-on caring role – strong administration skills, digitally connected with previous experience of working with computer packages is essential to your success in the role. Building and maintaining respectful relationships is key.

We’ll be impressed if you have knowledge of the social housing sector in Northern Ireland but don’t worry as long as you have the curiosity to find out, we’ll help you.

Want to apply?

Great; all you need to do is let us know more about what you will bring to the role, your experience and for you to tell us how you live our values every day. You can do this by downloading an application form from our website: www.clanmil.org or phone the recruitment Line 028 90876 011 or via the recruitment email address: [email protected] . You will find a full job specification for the post on the website too.

In return, we offer a fantastic rewards package from generous annual leave, pension contributions and an award winning work-life balance package which we are happy to tell you about.

Closing Date: 12 noon, Thursday 5th July 2018

Interview Date: Week commencing 16th July 2018
