
Fear Forest is a thrilling Halloween attraction offering guests an immersive and spine-chilling experience in the heart of Colin Glen Forest Park.
Our scare team is at the core of creating unforgettable moments for visitors, blending performance, creativity, and fright in a safe, controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform as a scare actor in designated scenes, scare zones, and along forest trails, using costumes, make-up, and props to create a realistic and frightening atmosphere.
- Interact with guests in character, delivering scares while ensuring a fun and safe experience for all attendees.
- Stay in character throughout your shift, adapting your performance style to suit different age groups and intensity levels (including child-friendly and adult experiences).
- Collaborate with team members to execute group scares and maintain the flow of the attraction.
- Assist with crowd management, guest guidance, and answering basic queries when required.
- Follow all safety protocols, including maintaining a clean and hazard-free scare area, and reporting any issues to supervisors immediately.
- Attend all required training sessions, rehearsals, and costume/makeup fittings prior to the event.
- Remain professional, punctual, and reliable throughout the event period.
Requirements:
- Available to work evenings and weekends throughout October, including Halloween night.
- Comfortable wearing costumes, masks, and theatrical makeup for extended periods.
- Able to work in low-light conditions, outdoors, and in varying weather.
- Physically able to stand, walk, and perform in dynamic environments for several hours.
- Outgoing personality, strong improvisational and communication skills; acting or performance experience is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Ability to take direction, accept feedback, and adapt performance as needed.
- Team player with a positive, energetic attitude.
