The postholder will deliver resilience interventions which improve coping strategies, social networks and facilitate participation in a range of activities that enhance wellbeing with the aim of reducing alcohol harm in the over 50s population. Through a network of volunteers and peer mentors, you will deliver community workshops, community/social engagement and social and skills development activities for the 50+ age group.
Reports To: Office Manager, Bogside & Brandywell Health Forum
Contract: Fixed term to March 2020
Required Qualifications & Training:
Good general education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent and, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a health improvement and/or community based programme
OR
NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or degree in Occupation Health, Community Education or CSW, RMN, RGN and minimum of 1 years experience in the field
