Research and Policy Officer

You will implement the RNIB NI campaigns operational plan and the NI Vision Strategy. You will build the evidence base for RNIB core campaigns; commissioning and managing research; developing relevant projects and implementing findings to effectively influence policy and practice, to improve the lives of blind and partially sighted people in NI.

This is a key role within the policy and campaigns team which requires experience of working with a policy environment, with knowledge and understanding of the key issues of concern for blind and partially sighted people.

This position requires solid experience of both UK wide and regional campaigning; lobbying and influencing key decision makers and experience of providing written and verbal briefings on complex policy topics to a variety of audiences.
