Relief Early Years' Nursery Assistant - Children's Centre, Belfast

We are currently recruiting for relief Early Years Assistants to join our Mencap Early Years’ Services at our Children's Centre based in Belfast for 2-3 year old children with a learning disability.

At our Children's Centre, we look after 52 wonderful children. We guide and help them to live their early years to the very best and to ensure every moment is filled with happiness!

You will assist with the provision of a stimulating and caring play environment so as to encourage each child to reach his/her potential, working alongside a multi-disciplinary team and other professionals to offer learning and therapeutic opportunities. You will work safely and in compliance with our internal and external requirements so that the people we support can trust and feel safe and confident in the support we provide them.

You will have a recognised NVQ3 Child Care qualification or equivalent or will be working towards this or a similar discipline. Candidates who do not have the relevant qualifications will not progress to shortlisting.
