WheelWorks youth arts charity seeks an experienced Project Manager to manage, promote, coordinate and deliver a range of inspiring and creative projects and workshop activities for children, young people and their communities across Northern Ireland.

This is an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated, self-starter, passionate individual who will share our vision to forge new creative and inclusive spaces that inspire and empower individuals to express what matters to them.

The applicant will be responsible for managing and overseeing a number of WheelWorks (WW) newly secured projects. This involves managing team members, coordinating/ artists/facilitators/trainers to deliver project workshops and sessions; securing future funding for new projects; developing relationships with stakeholders, youth groups, and community organisations.  The successful candidate will contribute to marketing, publicity, report writing, evaluation, achieving targets, maintaining budgets and operational tasks as appropriate.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with one or more of the following skills and/or experience: project and team management, marketing, finance, and fundraising.

Applicants must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, creative, social media proficient, confident and outgoing, with a can do attitude. 

The position is on a freelance basis, 34 hours per week (Monday to Friday with some weekends and evening work as per project requirements), pay 24,000 pro rota from 16th of July 2019 to 31st of March 2020. The application process requires the submission of application form by the 3rd of June 2019, followed by selection for interview and if successful then appointment to the position.
