About the roles:
The successful candidates will be part of either the microgeneration administrative team or the consultancy team in Action Renewables. The microgeneration team provides administrative services to approximately 6,000 clients, and the consultancy team conducts research, analysis and produces energy-related reports for clients. Each requires project management support. Project Managers are expected to be task orientated and self-driven, capable of delivering against deadlines with a focus on accuracy and strong organisational skills.
The main requirements and responsibilities of the Project Manager are:
- Manage administrative tasks, including collating information and preparing client data in line with internal processes with accuracy
- Assist in planning of projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
- Conduct research and analysis to support project decisions
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing progress updates
- Collaborate with the team to share knowledge, suggest improvements, and contribute to new initiatives
- Strong data handling skills using Excel and other software
- Occasionally represent Action Renewables at events
Essential criteria:
- Level 6 (degree level) qualification, preferably in a relevant subject, or 12 months experience in an energy related field
- Minimum 1 year experience providing administrative, or project management support
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience of data handling and management
- Able to demonstrate excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills
- High level experience of IT systems including Microsoft office packages
- Experience of client engagement and account management
