Programme Leader (Grow Cook Cater)
We are recruiting a Programme Leader to join our Grow Cook Cater team. Grow Cook Cater provide a training and skills development project which is funded by the Big Lottery and aims to provide training in horticulture and food preparations for young people with a learning disability.
Responsibilities:
· Working with the Business Manager to maintain collaborative efforts with partner organisations, in particular the Big Lottery;
· Secure programme trainees and process applications;
· Ensure that policies relating to safeguarding vulnerable adults are fully implemented;
· Provide direct line supervision to the GCC Leaders and ensure that adequate support and supervision is in place for all GCC staff.
· Work with GCC staff members and project participants to develop training programmes and adjust them based on participant feedback.
· Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of project outcomes, and manage feedback from participants, families and carers;
· Be part of the team which coordinates a 2-week Summer Scheme for young adults;
· Represent the organisation externally and provide presentations and talks as required;
· Participate in regulation and inspections as required;
Requirements:
· Third level education or higher
· Knowledge of the needs related to adults with learning disability
· Sound working knowledge of project management
· Sound working knowledge of policies related to protecting vulnerable adults
· Experience managing a staff team
· Previous experience working with adults with learning disability
· Previous experience with project management
· Previous experience implementing monitoring and evaluation systems
Hours: 19 hours Contract Type: Fixed Term contract for 2 years
Salary: £12,844 per annum (Based on 19 hours per week)
Day Opportunities Co-ordinator
L’Arche are recruiting a Day Opportunities Co-Ordinator for a new role that will be responsible for the day to day co-ordination to lead and develop our daytime opportunities in an expanding organisation.
Responsibilities:
· Assess potential participants and ensure a high-quality induction is in place.
· Engage with Services Users and complete the initial assessment, discussing their needs and aspirations.
· Engage with the participants throughout the programme and keep up to date their ongoing support plans.
· Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of project outcomes, and manage feedback from participants, families and carers.
· Ensure the team develops, pilots and evaluates new activities to enable L’Arche to provide a more person-centred programme of activities to more individuals.
· Identify gaps or opportunities for future development, where necessary working with external partners to improve and enhance provisions.
· Secure programme trainees and process applications;
· Ensure that policies relating to safeguarding vulnerable adults are fully implemented.
· Together with the Business Manager ensure that all involved with the program are working within the terms and conditions set out by funders.
· Assisting the Business Manager/Project Developer to compile information and produce reports accordingly.
Requirements:
· Third level qualification in care or equivalent
· A minimum of 2 year’s experience of working with adults with a learning disability
· Working knowledge of policies related to protecting vulnerable adults
· A minimum of 1 year’s experience of project management
· Previous experience implementing monitoring and evaluation systems
Hours: 19 hours (Occasional evening work may be required) Contract Type: Fixed Term contract for 2 years
Salary: £12,844 per annum (Based on 19 hours per week)
