Springboard has been operating over 27 years creating and delivering innovative programmes that build personal development & employability for young people. We wish to invite applications for Personal Development Coach (22 hrs/wk) Salary £26317 pro rata

Personal Development Coach will work on our JobWorks+ programme. Our JobWorks+ programme works with young people to meet their personal development and employability needs.  The Personal Development Coach will support young people to overcome barriers and enable them to increase employability.  

Key criteria includes:

- 3rd level qualification in a relevant field with minimum 2 years experience of working with young people on personal development/ wellbeing OR possess a qualification (above Level II) in a relevant field and minimum 3 years experience of working with young people on personal development / wellbeing 

- Experience of individual needs assessment, recording and reporting on participant development 

- Experience of mentoring/one to one support with young people facing multiple/complex needs 

- Ability to respond to crisis, use initiative , including assessing risk and making referrals.

- Ability to undertake administrative duties, computer literate and understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues.

- Possess high level communication, interpersonal and presentational skills.
