Painter/Decorator

Task Team, is a property management company. The role holder will be expected to be the lead painter/decorator in a small team of maintenance operatives; providing a full range of painting and decorating work.

Key tasks & responsibilities

To provide a full range of painting and decorating work within a response maintenance contract in the greater Belfast area.
To assist the wider maintenance team to carry out a variety of maintenance based projects e.g. room reconfigurations, cleaning, clearing etc.
To report any health and safety hazards, defects or damage discovered during the normal course of the post-holder’s work.
The safe keeping and maintenance of company tools and equipment issued to them.
To assist client company staff to move furniture/equipment as and when necessary.
To keep records of work carried out as required using appropriate log books and sign off sheets/software.
To ensure a suitable level of quality and workmanship is maintained by themselves at all times.
