We are looking for an enthusiastic Operations Manager to lead our fundraising ambitions in Northern Ireland and to be the local representative for our policy and campaigns work to ensure we can deliver our vision for a day when no one dies of bowel cancer

We are the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.This is an exciting time to join the charity in this new role, as we start to deliver our ambitious new strategy to develop and greatly expand our services in Northern Ireland.

You will work closely with the Head of Scotland and Northern Ireland and will play a key role in supporting the work of the Senior Services Officer, who leads on developing and delivering the Bowel Cancer UK service offer in Northern Ireland.  This includes the development and coordination of volunteering roles and activity.  You will help in promotion and marketing of our services and identifying opportunities for partnership working. 

The position will also play a key role in developing and implementing our strategy in Northern Ireland.  The post operates with a high degree of autonomy on a day-to-day basis. A clean driving licence is essential for this role.
