Listening Volunteer

At Belfast Samaritans we're always delighted to hear from potential new volunteers who might like to get involved with the charity and give something back to the community, while making a difference to people’s lives. This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those going though difficult times. Using the skills you will receive through our training you will be able to emotionally support those who are struggling with feelings of distress, despair and suicidal feelings. Through this emotional support it is hoped that those experiencing such feelings will come to find a way forward
