Location:  MindWise Head Office, Pinewood House, 46 New Forge Lane, Belfast, BT9 5NW

Salary: Band 8 - £42,000 – £45,000 per annum   

Starting Salary: £42,000 (8.0)

Type of contract: 37.5 hours per week

Duration: Permanent 

Closing date: Extended to 12 noon, Thursday 25th March 2021

Job Purpose:

The Head of Income Generation will lead a diverse team (WorkWise, Public Affairs & Fundraising) who have responsibility for a range of Income Generation activities by: -

• Leading on Income Generation strategies in support of our overarching Business Plan
• Proactively supporting the strategic direction of the organisation as a member of the senior team.

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge required:

• A third level qualification (HND, diploma or degree) or equivalent
• Minimum of three years’ experience at a senior management level, in an income generating field, leading a high performing team.
• 3 years recent experience of managing a team of staff.
• A proven track record in planning for and recuring funding applications and/or tenders.
• Proven track record of achieving income/sales targets.
• 3 years recent experience of effectively managing a portfolio of accounts and client liaison in wither charitable or commercial environment.
• IT literate proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Zoom, Teams etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours with reasonable evening and weekend work.
• A full current driving license enabling the holder to drive in NI and have the use of a vehicle for official purposes or have access to a form of transport that will enable the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.
