Head of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement (Belfast based)

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Fundraising and Supporter Engagement is a member of the Christian Aid Ireland Leadership team.  The role will lead and manage the staff and work of the Fundraising and Church & Supporter Engagement team throughout Ireland and provide strategic leadership for all church engagement and fundraising activities across Ireland (North and South). 

The role holder will take responsibility for the development and implementation of an integrated fundraising strategy for Ireland to generate long term sustainable growth, raising funds to deliver Christian Aid Ireland’s organisational strategic objectives. The role holder will also be expected to develop and implement a Church Engagement Strategy and to significantly build and strengthen Christian Aid’s relationships with member churches and seek support for fundraising, advocacy and public campaigns through the network of member Churches and the wider community.
