Group Financial Accountant

£40,000 (flexible depending on experience)

Job Purpose:

We are looking to appoint an experienced Financial Accountant to oversee the Group Finance Function, supporting the Director of Finance and the Group Financial Controller. This individual should have demonstrable experience of running a multi-functional finance team, knowledge of updated accounting standards, timely preparation of management information, and implementation of improvements to financial processes and procedures. This is an exciting and challenging role, working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Essential Criteria:

• Fully qualified accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA
• At least 5 years post-qualification experience working in a fast paced, commercial finance department.
• Demonstrable experience in leading core financial functions in the following areas:
  • Payroll
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
• Demonstrable experience in improving and enhancing key financial processes and controls
• Demonstrable experience in leading and performance managing a finance team
• Full driving licence
