Fusion+ Support Worker

SUPPORT WORKER £17364 pro rata

Part time 17.5 hours/week (Jobshare)

Fixed term until 31st March 2020

Support Worker on our Fusion+ programme will have a range of responsibilities, these will include:

• Assist in marketing the programme and recruitment and selection of participants.
• Assist in research, design and delivery of programme provision
• Assume leadership in creating and fostering a climate which encourages positive growth and personal development in the participants.
• Engage, support and supervise young people throughout programme provision.
• Mentor, coach and support young people to facilitate personal, social and educational growth, as well as encourage greater social inclusion.

Essential criteria includes:

• Working towards or hold minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant field
• Previous experience of supporting young people in an empowerment programme.
• Flexible approach to working  hours.
• Previous experience of working on a programme in at least one of the following areas, personal and social education, citizenship education and good relations / community relations.
