to offer personal and practical support to families where there are children under the age of four. This includes supporting parents in their role, and will include home visiting and group facilitation.
- To provide practical and emotional support to families involved in the sure start programme.
- To work collaboratively with the staff team taking effective centre-based work out to families in their own home and community.
- To work in a way which values parents, responds to their expressed needs and encourages participation and empowerment.
- To creatively respond to opportunities to extend our work to parents outside of present services.
- To assist in the design and deliver outreach programmes which encourage learning through play and support parental involvement in their child’s development.
- To respond to the need for flexible working hours, including possible early mornings, evenings and weekends.
