Family Group Worker

The Family Group Worker will assist the Family Group Leader in all aspects of running the Family Group - (Tuesdays and Thursdays).  The Family Group provides a safe and stimulating environment for parents and their pre-school children.

The Family Group worker will help set up the room for the group, prepare crafts and refreshments, welcome families, play with the children and take part in action songs and nursery rhymes.  There is a structured activity plan for each session.  Family Group encourages children's speech and language skills, communication skills, social skills and fine motor skills.  It helps children and their parents grow in confidence and to become more involved in the local community.
