Ulster Wildlife are seeking to recruit a Environmental Farming Scheme Planner and Group Facilitator who will be responsible for the provision of facilitation services for the Ulster Wildlife Environmental Farming Scheme (EFS) Group Programme

The postholder will provide an independent, confidential service to potential and existing scheme participants with the primary objective of ensuring that designated lands and priority habitats participating within the scheme move towards favourable condition status. 

He/she will act as a locally based point of contact for landowners/managers helping them to address the issues and challenges of farmland habitat management, facilitate skills development & disseminate best practice through group-based activities and though providing mentoring and advice.  This will help landowners/managers proactively manage sites and ensure compliance with EFS obligations and statutory requirements where applicable

JOB DESCRIPTION
 

Role:                    EFS PLANNER & GROUP FACILITATOR
                                               

Location:            Based in Fermanagh House, Broadmeadow Place, Enniskillen,

                            BT74 7HR.

                            There will be regular travel across the project area and across NI.

Contract:            Fixed term to 31 December 2022.

 

Salary:                £26,921 - £28,378 per annum. Access to employer’s contributory pension scheme to a maximum of 7% per annum.

 

Hours:               Full time post - with regular weekend and evening working.

                            

Leave:                   24 days per annum plus 12 days statutory holidays

                              (26 days per annum after 3 years continuous service)
