The role

As Early Years Assistant (BANK) you will ensure children attending the Daycare setting have the best start in life by providing a safe, welcoming, high quality, inclusive early education environment, for children from 6 weeks to 12 years.

You will work in partnership with families to promote and facilitate positive parenting and the enhancement of the role of parents as "first educators".

The post holder is required innovatively to support and extend play experiences to ensure early outcomes are achieved.

Essential Criteria

At the closing date applicants, must have:

  • NVQ II in Children’s Care Learning and Development or Health and Social Care Qualification/or equivalent/or willing to undertake study to gain qualification.

Desirable Criteria

  • NVQ III in Children’s Care Learning and Development.
  • One years’ experience working in an early childcare setting.
