Salary: Extern Director Salary Scale

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in Mallusk (Flexibility regarding working hours, will be required to meet the requirements of the position). 

Contract Status: Permanent

Location: Extern operates in both Northern Ireland and Ireland. The Finance team operates from our headquarters in Mallusk however the postholder can be based remotely.​​

About the role:

As part of the Strategic Leadership Team, the Director of Finance will be responsible for providing financial leadership to the Extern Group and its subsidiary companies. The Director will ensure the CEO and Board are provided with sound professional advice on developing and implementing financial strategies to safeguard the long-term financial viability and sustainability of the companies within the Extern Group.

The Director of Finance will ensure resources are utilised efficiently, effectively and economically to support the achievement of the Group’s strategic plan. The Director of Finance will provide exemplary management and control of all financial reporting, processing and recording systems and oversee the development of a high performing Finance team which serves all stakeholders of the Extern Group.
