Positive Futures is Northern Ireland’s leading learning disability, acquired brain injury and autistic spectrum condition charity.  We currently employ around 600 people throughout the island of Ireland. 

The Lakeland Supported Living Service supports adults who live in their own homes.  The Service currently supports 8 individuals but with new referrals we are growing.  We are looking for:

Deputy Service Manager

Full time, temporary role for up to 12 months

Deputy Service Manager is a challenging, yet highly rewarding role that has a direct impact on the lives of people we support. This is an opportunity to assist in managing a high quality service which is expanding.  The role will be based in Lisnaskea, but the office will soon be moving Enniskillen.

The person will:

  • Have a minimum of a Level 3 Health and Social Care related qualification AND 2 years’ experience in a H&SC setting OR have at least 4 years’ experience in a H&SC setting
  • Have at least 2 years’ management/supervisory experience
  • Be currently registered with NISCC or be eligible for registration (without admonishment or warning) or appointment
  • Have the ability to travel independently. Positive Futures defines this as being a car driver and holder of a full driving licence or having access to a form of transport which will permit the applicant to meet the demands of the post. (This criteria is waived for candidates unable to meet it due to disability.)
