Support carers by providing safe, reliable and flexible breaks from continuous care. Achieve this by accompanying and supporting adults with a learning disability who may also have added mental health issues, sensory impairment or physical needs.

Are you available to work Thursday/Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons (4 hour shifts)?

 

Caring Breaks, an organisation dedicated to provided short respite breaks to the faily carers of adults with a learning disability wishes to recruit for our Natural World Challenge Project:-

 

COMMUNITY RESPITE WORKERS

 

We are seeking individuals who are motivated, flexible and who can commit at least 8 hours each week supporting adults with a learning disability to develop their social and leisure interests within the community.

Aims of Job:

To support family carers by providing safe, reliable and flexible breaks from their caring responsibilites.

Hourly rate: £8.21

Criteria: Candidates must be aged 18 years and over,  have 6 months caring experience (either personal or through work) and have a current driving licence and car (which is fully insured) available for work purposes.
