Community Network Manager (North/South West NI)

NIRN is hiring a Community Network Manager to strengthen our network team. This role will focus on growth and collaboration within our membership. Key responsibilities include supporting member development, engaging new members, facilitating connections, and promoting funding and activities. The role involves contributing to network communications, encouraging engagement in consultations, maintaining CRM records, and sharing best practices through events and training.
A significant aspect involves member training, both in person and online. The role also entails developing case studies to promote members and the reuse/repair sector, organising networking events and regional public engagement initiatives, and addressing member training needs.
Furthermore, the position requires representing NIRN in building relationships with local councils and departments to advance the circular economy, and presenting a positive image of the network to various stakeholders. Regular progress reporting to the Operations Manager is also expected.
We are seeking a candidate who is ideally located in Derry & Strabane Council or Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area. With travel to meet organisational requirements across the North/South West (NI) and with occasional travel across any location in Northern Ireland.
Contract : A fixed term contract until 31st of March 2026, with potential to extend subject to satisfactory performance and programme funding
