Many of our volunteers are White Badge Accredited. This has allowed us to offer a culturally rich and informative experience for those visiting Clifton House, putting us on a power with some famous London landmarks like Tower Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral.
Volunteers themselves have learnt a great deal about the history and heritage of North Belfast, and have grown in confidence in being a tour guide for the cities oldest working building.
Our volunteers also help us deliver our ongoing projects, including supporting the events of the North Belfast Heritage Cluster and Great Place North Belfast project.
Why Volunteer?
As a volunteer you join an existing team of enthusiastic and interesting people from all walks of life, young and old, who bestow the greatest gift they have to offer – their time. Working alongside the small staff team, volunteers are at the heart of the heritage mission, assisting with events, delivering guided tours and helping to preserve the important stories from the past for generations to come.
