The Playhouse in Derry~Londonderry is seeking applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer.  

The Playhouse is based in Artillery Street, Derry/Londonderry, the second largest city in Northern Ireland.  One of Ireland’s leading award-winning, multi-disciplinary community art resource centres, The Playhouse was established in 1992 by Pauline Ross with a grant of just £300. The Playhouse is a recognised charity and registered company. Today, the Playhouse’s programme of activities includes hosting theatre, music and performance art to over 15,000 people annually; commissioning and producing contemporary theatre; delivering educational courses and outreach projects to people of all ages, religion and abilities; using arts activities to promote understanding and reconciliation, and to support the peace process; and hiring studio, theatre and accommodation to creative businesses.
