We are looking for people who are keen to help us achieve our aim of lifting people out of poverty by volunteering in our 'Changing Room' shop in Garvagh.
We would love to hear from you if you could spare a few hours per week to help with the following tasks:
- Maintain the high standard of presentation on the shop floor
- Man the till
- Display and merchandise stock
- Help customers, advise them on their purchases and maintain a high level of customer care
- Sort through donations of clothing and accessories
- Steam, size and presentation of donated goods on the shop floor
- Recycle items that are unsuitable for sale
- Act as an ambassador for Christian Aid Ireland
You don't need previous retail experience in this volunteering role and we welcome people of all backgrounds and abilities. It's a great opportunity for volunteers to use existing skills and to learn new ones. It's also a fantastic way to meet new people while helping to change the lives of communities living in poverty around the world.
