Career Mentor - Community Family Support Programme (Strabane)

Customized Training Services wish to employ a Career Mentor for their ‘Community Family Support Programme’ (CFSP), based in CTS Strabane Office.

An exciting job opportunity has arisen to make a positive contribution to supporting individuals into education, training and employment. 

You will work alongside the Family Mentor to provide support to individuals to address health, social and economic concerns with the aim of entering further training and / or gaining employment. You should possess excellent oral and written communication skills; be results driven and demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery and continuous improvement. You will also be required to design and deliver needs-led programmes to develop career skills, such as job search, CV, applying for jobs, and engaging in training.

You shall be involved in the design and delivery of Level 1 and non-accredited training qualifications, workshops in personal development and career skills.

You will be qualified to a minimum Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Advice & Guidance, Mentoring, Coaching, Counselling or demonstrable equivalent; 5 GCSE or equivalent incl. English, Maths, & ICT

Desirable: Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Youth Work, Education, Adult Learning Support.
