We develop innovative partnerships and constructive, cohesive relationships internally and across all sectors of society, uniting people to create better outcomes for children and young people, bring a positive impact in the community and to realise our vision to end youth homelessness in Northern Ireland.
We are seeking Voluntary Board Members to join a diverse and committed team working co-operatively at governance and strategic level.
A commitment to the values, vision, mission and aims of MACS Supporting Children and Young People is required, and an understanding of the areas in which we work would be advantageous but not essential.
This is an opportunity to join an organisation with an excellent record of innovation, advocacy and in providing and developing a comprehensive range of services for children and young people. The Board consists of volunteers from a range of backgrounds with diverse skills and experience, who are working to meet challenges and opportunities in a changing environment.
We want to enhance our board membership and are particularly keen to attract people with expertise in Finance and Fundraising.
Members will be required to attend quarterly Board meetings and (where applicable) participate in established sub committees such as Finance, Operations & Risk, which also meet four times per year.
A full Induction, training Board Buddy will be provided.
