Autism Outreach Worker and Personal Assistants, Derry/Londonderry

Positive Futures is Northern Ireland’s leading learning disability, acquired brain injury and autistic spectrum condition charity.  We currently employ over 600 people throughout the island of Ireland.  Autism Outreach Workers support young people, aged 4 to 18, who are on the autistic spectrum condition, to take part in activities which meet their needs and aspirations.  They plan, coordinate and provide support. Personal Assistants provide support activities such as cinema outings, cooking, swimming, arts and crafts and playing sports.

Autism Outreach Worker
£8.50 per hour
14 hours/week – supporting young people in Strabane, Derry city, Limavady and Dungiven

Personal Assistants
£8.50 per hour 
supporting young people in Strabane, Derry city, Limavady and Dungiven

For all posts activities will be in the afternoon and evening during term time and during the day in school holidays. All positions are temporary to March 2021 (subject to funding).
